President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday [Dec. 27] visited a former military Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, at his Hilltop Mansion in Minna, Niger State.
Jonathan who was accompanied on the visit by the National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.); his Chief of Staff, Gen. Jones Arogbofa (retd.); Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Muhammed; and the Director-General of his campaign team, Ahmadu Ali, met behind closed-door with the military dictator.
He later told journalists that he was in Minna to greet “his father” who recently returned to the country from a medical trip abroad.
Babangida also told journalists that all Nigerians must support Jonathan because he means well for the country.
