Petr Cech could seal a move to Roma in the coming days after Chelsea reportedly gave him permission to leave the club.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho had said earlier this week that Cech would be staying at Stamford Bridge, after allowing Mark Schwarzer to join Leicester City.
But now it appears he’s backtracked on that, with respected Portuguese journalist Goncalo Lopes saying Cech has been allowed to depart, with Roma close to a deal.
Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with the 32-year-old, who has made no secret of his frustration at being second choice to Thibaut Courtois.
Mourinho accepted Petr Cech departure. Negotiations with AS Roma. The deal can be done in the next days.
