FAB PICS: A Black And White Night! Madonna, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Gwen Stefani Look Slinky On The Red Carpet At The 2015 Grammy Awards

The red carpet for the Grammy Awards in LA started on a dark note on Sunday (Feb. 8) evening. Madonna stood out in a black Givenchy minidress that looked inspired by a matador's costume. The 56-year-old singer, who was with Diplo and Nas, also had on a black hat with a veil. Beyonce, Gwen Stefani and Miranda Lambert also chose noir for the big night.

But others - including Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen - opted for a brighter look.

Miley Cyrus was flashing the flesh in her gown. The Bangerz hit maker wore a black dress with several cut outs - some on the hips, some on the legs. Her back was on display too as there was nothing but a few strings holding her dress together there. Sadly, her new beau model Patrick Schwarzenegger - the son of Arnold and Maria Shriver - was not seen with her. It did seem however that she took her mother Tish with her.
