| 50 Cent jokes about being declared bankrupt by posing next to tiny car |
50 Cent may have declared himself bankrupt but at least he can have a laugh about it. The former hip-hop heavyweight, filed the legal documents on Monday, three days after losing a multi-million pound lawsuit, took to Instagram this morning [Jul 14] to joke about losing his fortune.
He posed next to a tiny blue Smart car in a car park and wrote alongside the pic: "Times are hard out here LMAO#EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO." We doubt he's joking too much, though. The artist, real name Curtis James Jackson III, issued papers in the US Bankruptcy Court in Hartford, Connecticut yesterday.
It comes after he was ordered to pay Lavonia Leviston £3.2 million when a jury determined the rapper had intentionally acquired an X-rated video she made with her boyfriend, added himself as a crude commentator and posted it online without her permission to embarrass his rap rival Rick Ross, who fathered a child with the woman.

Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson hosted a club night for his birthday at The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort last Wednesday where he made sure that the reported $5k in $100 bills he had in his pocket was clearly on display.
The 40-year-old rapper, actor and businessman was casual in jeans, a baseball cap and a printed T-shirt with a huge gold dollar sign on a chain around his neck but it was the large wad of cash in his front pocket which commanded attention.
According to TMZ it totalled $5,000 in $100 bills.
